I Cannot Die Before Going to Japan

I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. And when I say that, I mean it—I refuse to die before setting foot there. It’s not just some passing thought; this is something I’ve been dreaming about for years.

My intro to Japan? It all started with anime. A friend got me hooked, and that was it. I was obsessed with the stories, the worlds, the characters. Watching these shows made me want to learn about the actual Japanese culture, not just the things I would see on a screen.

So, I started reading up on it, finding everything I could. History, food, daily life, everything. I wanted to know—how close is the real Japan to the one I’m watching on my laptop?

Then, I stumbled on this YouTuber, Marv. He’d rented a campervan, taken some basic Japanese lessons, and just hit the road across Japan. He was trying out all the local food, checking out convenience stores, exploring random places. It looked like the ultimate experience.

Japan’s at the top of my bucket list, no question. It’s not just a travel goal. For me, it’s a test—a way to measure if I’m actually living the life I want.
